**About Us** VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is seeking a relief internist to join our state-of-the-art, 43,000 square foot facility. As an AAHA-accredited referral center, primary care facility, and teaching hospital with 24-hour emergency service, VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is staffed by over 50 veterinarians with specialties in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency/Critical Care, Neurology, Cardiology, Oncology, Radiology, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Zoo Medicine, Behavior, and Rehabilitation/Integrative Medicine. We pride ourselves on our strong culture of teaching, with a large class of rotating and specialty interns and residents in multiple specialties. **Compensation** Compensation for this position is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Relief pay ranges from $2,800 to $3,700 per shift or 25% of production. **Our Facility** + 9 state-of-the-art surgery suites, including those dedicated to Neurology, Orthopedic, and minimally invasive surgery + 19 examination rooms + 2 medical procedure rooms + 1.5 Tesla MRI + 128-slice CT scanner + Medical Oncology suite, including a bone marrow transplant center + Radiation Oncology suite with a new Trilogy Unit and Eclipse Software + Large Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation center **Location** Located in beautiful West Los Angeles, our hospital is minutes away from scenic hiking trails and beaches, and just an hour and a half from skiing or snowboarding in the mountains.
