Reliability Technician – Mining Industry – R900k – R700k
Overview

A great mining company in Johannesburg is seeking the expertise of a Reliability Technician to join their team of professionals.

Responsibilities

Accountable for identification and implementation of trackless fleet reliability improvement initiatives. A core accountability of the role is to maintain the highest possible safety standards in area of operation and influence Perform inspections in accordance with the MHSA regulations and company standards Contribute to the culture of Zero Harm by adhering to all requirements as laid down by legislation health safety environmental security policies and procedures and by the application of specific instructions to own work area and task completion Daily verification and validation, that the operate and maintain for reliability training outcomes are being applied effectively by the Operators, Artisans and Supervisors at the working areas underground, intervene when required and reinforce expectations Interact and discuss with Artisans during on-the-job observations to identify any improvement opportunities to preserve asset health

 Requirements 

Grade 12 Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate N4 Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering 5 – 10 years’ experience in a trackless mining environment

Benefits 

Salary: R700K/yr – R900K/yr, salary negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)  Training & Development
