Strategic Role: The position involves developing and implementing maintenance strategies across a portfolio of facilities in East Asia, suggesting a high-level, regional management position.

Technical Expertise: The role requires deep knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and asset performance analysis.

Project Management: There's a significant focus on managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including budgeting, planning, and execution.

Leadership: The position involves leading and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians, as well as collaborating with local/regional clients.

Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key vendors and service providers is an important aspect of the role.

Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to local regulations and company policies related to facility management and safety is a key responsibility.

Data Analysis and Reporting: The role involves analyzing asset performance data to identify improvements and cost savings, as well as preparing and presenting reports to senior management.

Continuous Improvement: There's an emphasis on ongoing process improvement and implementation of best practices across the portfolio.

Travel Requirements: This position requires regular travel throughout the East Asia region to visit and assess various facilities within the portfolio. The candidate must be willing and able to travel on short notice, including for emergencies that may arise at any of the managed properties.
