Reliability Engineer Hamburg (w/m/d)

Core Responsibilities:

Coordinate reliability and asset utilization by implementing the strategy, creating standard facility reliability metrics that will improve maintenance effectiveness and asset performance.Collaborate with plant teams and corporate engineering to develop plans to reduce manufacturing losses and improve facility utilization through root cause analysis and implementation of the reliability strategy.Create and maintain Asset Criticality analyses and FMEAs for new and existing equipment.Create and evaluate Bad Actor analyses to set up improvement projects to increase asset reliability und reduce maintenance costs.Support maintenance team to set up maintenance strategy for new and existing equipment based on the results of Bad Actor Analyses and FMEAs.Identify and support the implementation of digital technologies and best in class industry standards to increase asset utilization and reduce maintenance costs.Support capital projects as part of plant design to optimize the life cycle of equipment ("Design for Reliability").Support risk management by identifying risks for potential significant equipment failures that could

be disruptive to Ingredion's business.

Establish standardized processes, practices, and analysis to identify and eliminate potential equipment failures and malfunctions.Create, and implement reliability training for Engineering, Maintenance, Operations.Create, implement, and report reliability KPIs.Support other departments and European plants such as Operations, EHS, Quality.Establish and actively support networks for the exchange of know-how within and outside the company.Participation in plant on-call duty (Werksrufbereitschaft) 

Qualified candidates will have:

Mandatory requirements

Master of Science or similar degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similarMin. 5 yrs of work experience in maintenance and reliability, ideally within a food production environmentAnalytical and reporting experience working with reliability software and data analysis tools.Knowledge of Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologiesMS Office, MS Project, SAP-PMEnglish, German fluent spoken and written (B2)
