Reliability and Life Cycle Engineer (FMECA/FTA) for Rail Vehicles

Our role in ensuring proper vehicle maintenance includes developing maintenance plans and collaborating with the Customer Service (CS) department to create maintenance manuals.

Do you have an analytical mindset, enjoy working with numbers and tables, and love data analysis? Our Engineering Projects Department is looking for a new ASR (Architecture, Safety, Reliability) team member to take on the challenge of reliability and life-cycle cost (LCC) analyses and failure tree modeling.


Key Responsibilities:

Conducting operational reliability and availability (RAM) analyses for rail vehicles and their subsystems Evaluating and analyzing life-cycle costs (LCC) Supporting and coordinating RAM/LCC activities during rail vehicle development Creating maintenance concepts and plans in cooperation with the Customer Service team Performing operational data analyses


Requirements:

Strong analytical thinking and enthusiasm for working with numbers and data University degree in transport engineering, mechanical engineering, or electronics Expertise in reliability calculations (availability of technical systems) and LCC analysis or a strong motivation to develop in this area Experience with FMEA, FTA, LCC analyses, or maintenance planning Fluent English or German (with a basic understanding of the other language), fluency in Czech Strong communication skills to work with suppliers and project teams Good command of MS Excel
