Relationship Manager (Retirement Solutions)

**What You'll Do**
In our Customer Care area, the **Relationship Manager** develops deep relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, and third-party administrators that are in our 25M - 200M market space in the Memphis, TN area. This role is the strategic partner to our clients and advisors to provide creative solutions that meet business goals of retention, growth, and retirement readiness to name a few.
Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:
+ Collaborate with the plan sponsor and the advisor on plan design, investments, retirement readiness, services and new opportunities.
+ Plan level health reviews.
+ Problem solving complex issues.

**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required
+ 2+ years retirement industry experience
+ Must become an associated person of Principal Securities, Inc
+ Qualified Plan knowledge strongly preferred (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution)
+ Excellent demonstrated leadership, negotiation, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills required, as well as superior interpersonal, analytical, and oral and written communication skills
+ Must be assertive and entrepreneurial
+ Travel required (25 - 30%), mostly day travel but there will be occassional overnight travel, as well.
Licensing will be required based on state/federal laws and/or company policy in accordance with current licensing policy. The below licenses are required within 5 months of employment:
+ Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63).
+ Resident Life and Health appointment must be attained.
**Salary Range Information**
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
**Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)**
$86450 - $144400 / year
**Time Off Program**
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

**Location**
This job is located in Memphis, TN, but we would also consider Nashville, TN. You will be able to work from home when not out at client meetings.
**Job Level**
We are open to hiring at a higher level based on professional experience.
