The Reimbursement Analyst an entry-level position. You will perform support functions for Sr. Reimbursement Analysts, including but not limited to a review of revenue, expense, paid data, statistics, and other relevant information used in internal and external reporting. Duties & Responsibilities may include:
Assist in preparing hospitals' monthly closing analysis; preparing basic closing journal entries. Prepares specific sections of the Medicare and/or Medicaid cost reports. Prepares Tricare cost reports. Collects and manipulates large datasets using advanced Excel techniques Compiles and reviews data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Provide routine operational support to Sr. Analysts, Manager or Director, including but not limited to running AdHoc reports from various systems, analysis of data, and submitting reports to external agencies Assist in conducting regulatory research related to Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare cost reporting Assist with special projects.
What We Require:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance/information services/accounting.
Experience: Minimum of two years in accounting, financial analysis or reimbursement, preferably with a hospital setting.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong communication and analytical skills; Advanced Excel skills. Willingness to learn and advance through the reimbursement department.
