As a Rehab Tech you will:
+ Delegate direct or indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist or other licensed/registered clinicians.
+ Treatment set-up and take-down.
+ Patient scheduling.
+ Filing.
+ Stocking supplies.
+ Tracking data.
+ Equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Previous rehab experience in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
+ Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
+ Basic computer skills required
+ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Physical Requirements-Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
Weekday and maybe some weekend coverage will be provided by this PRN (as needed) outpatient rehab tech position. We are seeking someone with a solid background in customer service, fitness, and enjoy a pool setting. The appropriate person can be trained to assist our therapy team.
