UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a REHAB AIDE to join our team on a per diem basis.    This is a per diem position, located in Geneva NY. You are hired to work as needed, there are no set hours. This is a great opportunity for someone in the medical field seeking additional hours or for someone seeking to gain experience within a rehab or medical setting.    Our Rehab Aide offers a vital service to our patients and staff which helps serve our community better!   POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor, the Rehab Aide assists therapists and nursing staff with the provision of rehabilitative care for a variety of patients. He/She contributes to the plan of care through participation on the interdisciplinary team. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Minimum: High school diploma or GED.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferred:  One to two years in a rehab setting.
SKILLS: Minimum:  Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.  Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Preferred: Medical Terminology course completion. Salary Range: 17.51-19.34
