Join CAE’s simulation team based in Vienna, Austria, working on the most advanced simulators in the world. Due to the unrivalled range of simulators at our training centre, your role will be incredibly varied, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide range of the most modern simulators, systems, and equipment to enhance your technical knowledge.

In this role, the Regulatory Specialist will be expected to:
Act as a conduit for all matters related to the device’s certification between the training center andthe regulators.Maintain a schedule to ensure all certificate dates are achieved in a timely manner.Prepare and deliver full status reports during the authority’s evaluations highlighting previous/ current
and future events which contribute towards a successful simulator technical operation. Instigate and direct a program to enable the simulators to meet the requirements subjectively
outlined by the regulatory. Namely set up a program of Standard Fly outs for all devices and training
the individual stakeholders the requirements to successfully fulfill this requirement.Schedule a program to achieve all the milestones required by the regulator related to objective
testing of the device. (QTG’s)Monitor the preparation for Recurrent Evaluations, checking and expediting where necessary, that
required items such as QTG re-runs, subjective Fly Outs and QA audits have been completed.
Subsequently monitor progress on any findings and provide 30 Day and follow-up Reports as
required.Analysis and provide feedback to technical staff related objective test run as required by the
regulator to meet successful certification.Train staff in both the flight operations department and technical departments the necessity of successfully meeting all applicable regulatory compliance standards to enable zero flight time training.Plans, schedules, directs and reviews work of team members/ department activities working with the Team Leader, Device Coordinator and Systems Engineer.

Associate degree or college degree.5 to 8 years’ experience within the industry/similar roleLeadership experience leading and supervising small teams or groups.Fluency in EnglishCAE Offers:
