What Your Role Is POSITION OVERVIEW General Mills is seeking a highly motivated individual to work within our Europe/Australia Labelling & Regulatory Compliance team. The Labelling & Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for developing raw material, packaging, and finished product specifications in region EUAU. They work with vendors and internal departments to gather the necessary information and communicate specification changes. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES In this role you will be responsible to: Work with a cross functional team to ensure specifications are complete, accurate, consistent, and are released in a timely fashion Gather information from internal departments and external vendors to create specifications Oversee collision management by anticipating and effectively prioritizing against changing business demands Serve as one point of contact for all specification needs and lead early management activities Communicate changes to specification to both internal and external customers Maintain accuracy and complete updates of all specifications Maintain procedures for creation and distribution of specifications Provide just-in-time training to RnD team members on relevant specification topics Summarize and report project activity to the business teams Provide support in preparation, review, and submission of labelling and other required documentation to government agencies as needed What You Will Bring To The Team MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or Master’ s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related technical field 1+ year of practical experience in delivering projects in area of technical specifications, product labelling and regulatory compliance Working knowledge of product commercialization process from product design to manufacturing, regional regulatory standards and documentation requirements Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with all levels of the organization Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, different nationalities, and cultures Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills Detail oriented, organized, and self-motivator Ability to plan and deliver against tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at the same time Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Office 365, and SharePoint Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in additional languages is beneficial.
