Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and their families! **Position Overview:** We are seeking a passionate and skilled Relief Registered Veterinary Technician. Our hospital offers surgery, wellness/preventative care, ultrasound, and urgent care services. Our General Practice serves the community from 8am - 6pm and our Urgent Care has doors open from 10am-8pm. **Key Responsibilities:** + Proficiently capture dental and body radiographs with minimal guidance. + Safely monitor and administer anesthesia during surgical procedures. + Perform venipuncture and run in-house diagnostics efficiently. + Provide exceptional client experiences, ensuring open communication and care. + Embrace fear-free animal handling techniques and a willingness to learn new skills. + Collaborate with mobile board-certified specialists to deliver the best possible care options for our clients. **Qualifications:** + Valid veterinary technician license (or eligible for licensure). + Ample experience in a veterinary setting, with a strong foundation in anesthesia, radiography, and in-house diagnostics. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficient in scribing medical notes for DVMS' while in the room during patient examination and client communication. + A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Mentality of contributing to the team with a positive mindset and "we can do this" mentality. **What We Offer:** + Competitive salary and benefits package (including by not limited to pet discounts up to 75%, 2 weeks paid vacation, generous annual CE allowance, and more) + Opportunities for professional development and continuing education. + A supportive, team-oriented work environment. + Flexible scheduling with a focus on work-life balance. **Compensation:** + Is based on experience and starts at $2-$26/hr. **How to Apply:** If you’re ready to elevate your career and be part of a dedicated team at VCA Fort Collins, we’d love to hear from you!
