As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work alongside caregivers to actively provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. A caregiver in this position works nights, from 7 p.m. -- 7 a.m. Some weekends and holidays are required. A caregiver who excels in this role will: * Managing the Laboratory, including scheduling and ordering supplies. * Performing and analyzing quality control data, performing advanced invasive or noninvasive protocols, and design and perform investigatory protocols. * Monitoring patient care and administrating medications and treatments. * Preparing, maintaining, and calibrating testing equipment. * Perform record keeping per patient's conditions. Minimum qualifications for ideal future caregiver include: * Currently is certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future cargiver include: * Currently is certified as an Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) Board licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS). * Has strong empathy skills and is passionate. * Prioritizes multitasking in a stressful environment. * Works well in a collaborative, team-based setting. **Work Experience:** + Prior experience in critical care preferred. + Neonatal/pediatric experience preferred when appropriate for site. + Prior experience performing invasive procedures preferred when appropriate for site. **Physical Requirements:** + Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. + Normal hearing and vision or corrected to normal range. + May require sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time. **Personal Protective Equipment:** + Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
