Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Function
Job Summary Relevant Pulmonary Function Experience and certification/registration Sweat Test Experience Pediatrics Testing experience Body box experience Critical care experience The Registered Respiratory Therapist will assess patient's condition and evaluates all data to determine the appropriateness of the prescribed respiratory care. Participates in the development and delivery of the respiratory care plan in accordance with department policies and procedures. In addition, this position is responsible to overseeing all aspects of Respiratory Care department including but not limited to, ventilator management, oxygen therapy, specialty gas administration, aerosolized medication therapy, chest physiotherapy, blood gas analysis, patient care assessment, and working on a multi-disciplinary team. Therapists will be a clinical resource and respond to all calls/pages from staff therapist and other disciplines in the hospital requiring assistance. Reports directly to the Department Manager. #STC Qualifications Education Requirements Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
