We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Occupational Safety team. You will play a pivotal role in implementing and supporting our Site Specific Safety Plan across various projects, ensuring the health and safety of all personnel on-site. This role involves providing medical care, conducting health assessments, and collaborating with the Project Safety Managers to uphold Kiewit's safety standards.
District OverviewKiewit’s Western Canada District is headquartered in Burnaby, British Columbia. We primarily perform heavy civil projects specializing in earth moving, transportation, roadways, bridges, water resources, and underground utilities. LocationThis position will be based at Kiewit's Marine Yard location in Coquitlam, BC. Regular travel to our different job sites across BC is required.

Responsibilities Provide prompt and efficient basic, intermediate, or advanced life support care to employees prior to EMS arrival, if required. Administer patient care within the limits of licensure or certification and in accordance with approved protocols. Assist in developing and maintaining on-site Medical Emergency Response Plans (MERP). Conduct health assessments, including measuring and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and documenting all patient interactions. Maintain inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment according to company policies. Participate and contribute to all on-site safety meetings and drills. Work as a liaison between clients, managers, and workers' compensation partners to provide routine information related to medical treatments and procedures. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum 5 years as an RN plus 3+ years emergency and/or outpost nursing experience. Previous occupational safety experience in an industrial or construction setting is preferred, or at minimum experience in critical care. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. Ability to perform work safely and effectively, understanding and following oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. Must have valid CPR or ability to obtain certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an asset. Case management experience preferred. Strong computer skills.Other Requirements:

Base Compensation: 44.00 - $50.00+
