Manages individualized, goal‑directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: 

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred. AS in Nursing RequiredBS or MS in Nursing is preferred

Minimum Work Experience: At least 1 year of acute care experience is preferred.

 

Required Licenses/Certifications: 

Current state registration or eligibility to do soBLS by 30 days of employmentACLS and PALS by the end of first year of employmentTNCC, ENPC, or CEN is preferred.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:  

Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.
