Registered Nurse- Rotating (Neurobehavioral Unit) $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
**Overview** The Neurobehavioral Unit (NBU) is a unique, 16- bed unit dedicated to the assessment and treatment of children and young adults with severe, treatment-resistant behavioral disorders. The NBU serves patients with a variety of diagnoses, including: autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, sleep disorders, seizure disorders, feeding disorders, stereotypic movement disorder with self-injurious behavior, and various genetic, metabolic and chromosomal disorders. The NBU has served patients from across the country and around the world, offering a specialized integrated and targeted application of behavioral and pharmacological interventions. Showing culture competence while working with patients and families from across the United States and around the world. Maintaining effective communication with the interdisciplinary team. Being evidence-based practice driven to deliver the highest quality of care to all patients on the unit. **Qualifications** Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to be completed within 2 ½ years of hiring date. Experience: Experience with pediatric and/or developmentally disabled population preferred. License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a compact state.
