The RN manages patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner and demonstrates skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources. The Pre-Operative Clinic Registered Nurse will be responsible for performing direct patient care preoperatively in the clinic. Working closely with hospitalist and their mid-level providers, pharmacy and lab technicians. Good communication skills with patients to acquire medical information essential. **Exceptional Skills and Qualifications** -The Pre-Operative Clinic Registered Nurse will possess strong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills. Will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task. Will be able to take direction well but also be self-directed and motivated.
