Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) Endoscopy Coordinator looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The RN Endoscopy Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, clinical expertise, and functional direction to other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes in the specific Endoscopy specialty. This is in addition to the Endoscopy RN-C nursing functions and duties.

Education and/or Experience

Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Must fulfill annual continuing education requirements of six contact hours of leadership topics. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Endoscopy or OR setting.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. ACLS and BLS certification required. Certification in related specialty is preferred.

Work Schedule

Day Shift, occas wknd/hol/call; 72hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$32.25 - $48.75 per hour
