Registered Nurse RN Medical Surgical
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** 12 Hour Night Shift **Description:** At **St. Francis Hospital** our **Registered Nurse RN on Medical Surgical** provides quality care primarily for adult patients before and after surgical procedures. Coordinating healthcare plans with the team, administering medications, as well as educating patients on their surgical procedures. Our professionalism, punctuality, attendance, teamwork, and empathy are at the core of how we represent medical surgical units and care for our patients, together, we positively impact the lives of all our patients and their families. **What you will do:** In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient. **Minimum Qualifications:** + **Education** : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred. + **Registered Nurse RN Licensure:** Must hold a valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure. + **Certification** : BLS (AHA/ARC). + **Experience:** Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry preferred. **Work Schedule** : Full Time-36 Nights -12 Hour Shift-Every other Weekend/Holiday **Ministry/Facility Information** **Saint Francis Hospital** has been an anchor institution in Connecticut since 1897.
