Fast-paced, high volume Med Surg department is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you?
Work location: Texas Health Southwest, 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132
Work hours: Nights 7P-7A – PRN I requires a minimum of 1 shift per 6 week schedule .

· Patients are admitted to the Med surg Tele (36 bed) unit for inpatient and observation surgical, gyn, gastro, ortho, spine, urology, infectious disease and general medicine with remote tele

Here’s What You Need
· Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
· Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
· BLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
· CPI training within 90 days of hire (required)
· ACLS within 90 days of hire (required)
· 1 + years RN experience required
· Strong Med/surg RN experience in acute care setting preferred
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
· Assesses the patient
· Plans the care of the patient
· Intervenes as appropriate
· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
