Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiology Service Coordinator
Job Description​

We are searching for a Registered Nurse for our Cardiology clinic on the plaza!

Clinic Hours are 7am - 5:30pm and this RN will work a rotation during a pay period of 2 days one week, and 3 the next. Days off vary based on clinic need.This is for both the office as well as hospital coordination which does include some minimal weekend and holiday rotation (typically 1 holiday per year and 1 weekend per year but could vary based on clinic need).Candidates with at least one year of nursing experience and a background in either Cardiology or Critical Care preferred!

This position will focus on coordinating care for hospitalized patients for the SLCC hospital services. This includes the appropriate triage and assignment of incoming patients to care teams including the teaching service. This position serves as the liaison between SLCC providers and the hospital staff and will assist the providers in discharge preparation including communication with the multidisciplinary team to address key issues at discharge including patient/family preparedness and follow-up care post hospitalization. Responsible for developing and conducting monthly orientation of incoming residents to the cardiology service is a key responsibility of this position.
