JOB SUMMARY
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of NursingPreferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master’s degree) Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.Minimum of one (1) year work experience in the operating room.Special training and\or experience in surgical procedures.Current AHA BLS Certification.Current AHA ACLS Certification.Current AHA PALS certification.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Additional languages preferred.SKILLS
