6 North Irving is a 37 bed Neuroscience Medical/Surgical unit and treats complex medical patients that include neurology, stroke, respiratory, diabetic and renal diagnosis.

A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital.  This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.

Pay Range $33.00-$47.86 based on experience 

 

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:  

Graduate of an accredited associate degree

*A Graduate Nurse (GN) must complete NCLEX within 120 days of employment.

Preferred:  

Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree

            *Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.

 

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Required:  

Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred:

Certification in a specialty area.
