**Job Description:** As a Imaging Nurse, you will be responsible for leading nursing services in imaging across multiple departments and facilities, ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-efficient patient care. Your leadership will involve overseeing staffing, resource allocation, and fostering a work environment that supports excellent nursing practice. This role also involves managing pre-op and post-op care, assisting with interventional procedures, and ensuring that imaging services meet high standards. Call and holiday coverage also needed.** **Compensation Grade:** **$39.99-$59.18** **Minimum Qualifications:** **Education:** **Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.** **Licensure:** **Active State RN license.** **Certifications:** **BLS for Healthcare Providers, ACLS or PALS certification (or must obtain within a specified timeframe).** **Experience:** **Nursing experience in Critical Care or Emergency settings. Understanding basic x-ray principles and practices.** **Must complete criteria for RN Medical Imaging I, plus 3 of the following:** **PICC line placement,** **IJ Central line placement,** **Charge Nurse** **Clinical coach/preceptor** **National Vascular Access Nurse Certification,** **National Stroke Certification,** **National Radiology Nurse Certification.** **Sedation in a trauma center I or II** **Preferred Qualifications:** **Registered member of ARNA/ARIN.** **RCIS or RNCB/CRN registration.** **Leadership experience.** **Physical Requirements:** + Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. + Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. + Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. + Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items. + Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
