Join Cedars Sinai’s Float Pool now and after 12 months you will be eligible to apply for cross-training, if accepted you will be cross trained with other specialties, which include ICU, ED, and Pediatrics. To qualify for cross training, you must obtain a PALS, NRP and BLS certificate before you apply. Cross training will allow you to get exposure to many different clinical areas while making a positive impact on the lives of a diverse patient population?

Educational Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.License/Certification Requirements:
California State RN License required.BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Certificates by ARC or AHA are required for certain units and for cross training consideration. (Cross- training is based on organizational staffing needs)RN III: Specialty certification by the ANCC is required. CCRN, CEN and PCCN specialty certificates are high preferred. (External applicants may obtain within 1 year of hire)Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years recent RN experience in specialty. (Minimum 3-years recent acute RN experience for RN II)Experience in two or more nursing specialty areas:
Adult Med/Surg/Tele & PCUAdult ICU & PCU Women’s ServicesNeonatal, Peds & PICU Emergency Services Must be a Clinical Nurse II at CSMC for at least one (1) year to be promoted within the clinical ladder.Req ID : 5758
