Essential Functions

Assesses needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data. Delegates, supervises, and evaluates the activities of other team members while simultaneously executing immediate directives and interventions in urgent or emergent situations. Collaborates with the surgeon and the surgical team in performing a safe operating with optimal outcomes for the patient. Assists surgeons in surgical procedures and surgical preparatory procedures. 

 

Required Education/Experience  

Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program Must possess a valid South Carolina or compact (multi-state) RN license. Active Basic Life Support certification, as well as additional certifications per unit requirements RNFA Required
