Location: Wesley Chapel Hospital – 4501 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FLStatus: Full TimeShift: 2:45 PM – 3:15 AMEvery other weekend requirementOn Call: NoAlways in person

Requirements:

RN (Registered Nurse) LicenseDiploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing2-year experience in the emergency departmentBLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart AssociationACLS certification with the American Heart AssociationPALS certification with the American Heart Association

The Registered Nurse – responsibilities and skills:

Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standardsDelegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care teamOrganizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant othersIdentifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical conditionResponding to medical emergencies for critical patientsHigh emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient Professional accountability and development
