JOB SUMMARY
The Critical Care Transport - Registered Nurse (RN) works under the direction of the medical director and supervision of transport management is responsible for providing safe and the highest quality patient-centered care to critically ill or injured patients from all age groups. This individual will deliver patient care in a variety of settings including, 911 calls, scenes, interfacility transport, and hospital. The Critical Care Transport - RN practices at a professional level that serves to build and maintain relationships with hospital departments, referring organizations, and 911 services in order to promote integrated delivery systems.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Preferred/Optional: None
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: One year of 911 experience. Demonstrated critical thinking skill, communication, and interpersonal skills in highly stressful environment. Demonstrated knowledge of emergency vehicles and traffic laws and operations.
Preferred/Optional: Three years of 911/Critical Care/ICU experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

Minimum Required:
RN license or Nurse Compact license awarded by the State of WI.Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license as verified through appropriate licensing agency.
