Responsibilities: + Assist with preoperative preparations, including verifying patient information, creating a surgical plan, and ensuring proper documentation. + Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. + Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure proper sterile techniques are followed and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room. + Assist with postoperative care, including monitoring patients' recovery, providing pain management, and ensuring a smooth transition to the recovery room or post-anesthesia care unit. + Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely. + Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance surgical nursing skills. Requirements Requirements: + Valid and active Registered Nurse license in the state + Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Circulating Nurse in an operating room setting + Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and principles + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment + Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask + Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills + Ability to collaborate and work well within a multidisciplinary team + Current CPR certification Benefits Amazing benefits starting day one
