Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Registered Nurse - Analyst, Compliance Dialysis, Part-time.
In this role, the successful candidate Assists DepartmentHeads in implementing and maintaining compliance programs in accordance with departmental and institutional policies as well as The Joint Commission TJC and Department ofHealth DOH standards and regulations Conducts non routine audits documenting and communicating findings and recommendations explaining regulatory requirements and overseeing the corrective actions for audits throughout the Nephrology Network and within the institution
Job Responsibilities:
Ensures that staff adheres to departmental and institutional policies. Performs monthly TJC audits and DOH regulatory observations throughout the Dialysis network. Develops recommended corrective actions to address issues detected.Performs other duties as assignedAttends the forms and Patient education committees. Facilitates the infection prevention committee.Participates in continuous compliance rounds monthly (i.e. network, emergency safety committee, and emergency preparedness for the unit or patient).Performs subsequent audits and follows up to ensure complete and appropriate corrective action. Ensures that quarterly chart audits for all locations and patients are reviewed for accuracy and compliance. Ensures charts are complete with required forms and respective backup information attached.Compiles information andor prepares reports and analyses of compliance audits with appropriate recommendations for corrective action.Responsible for Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI). Provides data for trending of causes of mortality and hospitalizations. Inputs data for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) National Healthcare Surveillance Network.Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor s Degree Nursing Healthcare or related field Current and valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse license 1 2 years of experience in Dialysis nursing Excellent communication both written and oral detail orientation customer service organization and multitasking skills Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office especially Word Excel and Outlook.
Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Nephrology Nurse CNN 1 2 years Healthcare or Quality related experience

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $47.54 - $79.24 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
