Position Summary: 
The Pre-Admission Registered Nurse performs a verbal assessment of the patient prior to admission via phone interview as well as reviews the patient's medical and surgical history, medications, and provides pre-operative instructions. The RN cares for a varied case load of surgical and procedural patients, making advanced assessments of the patient's physical needs. Assess pertinent information, and document interventions and evaluate results. Answers patient questions and provides appropriate pre-operative instructions regarding surgical procedures and medication.  The position works closely with the entire multidisciplinary team. Rotates various 8 hour shifts between 0730-1730
Position Requirements: 

Current IL RN Licensure Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience required. BSN degree, if not already obtained, required within 5 years of hire.
