STARTING RATE: $33.00/hr. (paying $33.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Registered Nurse may supervise duties performed by LPNs and CNAs in a team care setting under the direction of the Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, and Director of Nursing. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide direct care and treatment to long-term and rehabilitation resident Provide assessment and documentation of residents under their care Initiates and administers Intravenous treatments Communicates with the Nursing team and medical team as appropriate Reviews and evaluates the resident care plan Transcribes Physician orders May assist in orientating new staff Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility Work closely with RN Supervisor to ensure the best possible functions of the assigned unit Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans Prepares and administers, and records prescribed medications Records patients’ medical information and vital signs Assesses the patient's ability to do routine daily tasks Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree from an accredited school of nursing Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York requires                                                                                                                                                    ABOUT US:
