Registered Nurse | Obstetrics & Women's Health

 

Summary

Provides support to direct care staff.  Procedures which may include IV’s, dressing changes, and others. May include medication, infusion and immunization administration. Facilitates patient flow. Advocate for patients as needed.  Patient education. Organizes patient health information and updates electronic health records. Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care.  Provides management of pharmacy refill program for patients. Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Fulltime position - Working 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite at the Lakeland Clinic Primarily Mon-Fri Daytime shifts between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM and every 3rd Saturday daytime shift.

Pay and Benefits

Qualifications 

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Registered Nurse (RN) current license in the state of Minnesota required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required with exception: inability to complete certification process related to a health condition. Employee must complete education portion of the BLS within 6 months of hire. Ability to work well with team members and act as a leader for the nursing department clinical staff.  Good communication, computer, documentation, and time management skills.  Nursing RN assessment skills as well as procedural skills within scope of practice.
