Registered Nurse | Med/Surg

Find your purpose changing the lives of our patients as a Registered Nurse at the Long Prairie Hospital! As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your role is crucial in ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care.  In this role, you will direct and coordinate nursing care for patients, adhering to established nursing practice standards, you will work with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective and efficient patient care to achieve optimal outcomes and oversee the care provided to assigned patients, ensuring compliance with current standards, guidelines and regulations.

Schedule Full-time | 60 hours every two weeks | Long Prairie Hospital  Rotating day and night shifts | 7am – 7:30pm and 7pm – 7:30am  Every third weekend | Rotating holidays  
  Pay and Benefits $40.33 or more per hour, pay determined by experience $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates! Full-time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!
  Qualifications  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Minnesota RN license Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)   Critical Advanced Life Support (CALS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within one year of employment 

To be eligible for the hiring bonus and relocation assistance, you must be an external candidate who has not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire and be hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Relocation assistance also requires that you currently live more than 50 miles from the Long Prairie Hospital and move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment. CentraCare pay promotions to include but not limited to, hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be discontinued at any time due to business needs.
