REGISTERED CARDIOVASCULAR INVASIVE SPECIALIST

Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Is responsible for the production of optimal quality radiographs in a timely fashion while demonstrating concern for patients of all ages. Utilizes the knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient's age (neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) to ensure that care provided meets the unique physical and psychosocial needs of the patient.

REQUIREMENTS Preferred Associate's Degree Required High School Diploma Graduation from a AMA-JCH approved program for Radiological Technology. Less than 2 years Six months of cardiovascular and intervention training and/or experience. Required Must be ARRT certified. Required ARRT - Am Registered Rad Tech CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Full knowledge of catheters, guide wires, needles, dilators and other angiographic instrumentation in cardiovascular lab.
