In this role, you will:

Implement empirically validated and data driven treatment protocolsAssist in conducting funtional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)Work in a variety of settings: clinic, school, home, community and telehealthWork within specialty programs such as our School Consulting program, Pre-educational program, and our new High School Secondary Education Preparation program.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices, and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges and communication needs. Devereux uses evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations.

Qualifications

Education:  High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field; RBT certification strongly preferred. Will consider candidates in process to complete RBT Certification. 

 

Experience: Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents along the autism spectrum/behavioral challenges. Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided.
