Regional Starts and Compliance Specialist

David Weekley Homes is seeking a Regional Starts and Compliance Specialist to manage the start proofs process and collaborate with both Regional and Local Purchasing Teams to address any issues that arise.

Additionally, the role involves handling contract and insurance documentation, working closely with local teams to ensure compliance. This role will also oversee the setup of Preferred Partners in our system, ensuring everything is properly aligned for success.

Job Responsibilities:

Starts:

Run and review start proofs and address any issues with Local Purchasing TeamsPost job starts

Compliance:

Manage the review and follow-up of insurance documents with third parties and ensure that Preferred Partners maintain up-to-date data and insurance; place partners on hold as neededCommunicate and collaborate with Local Purchasing and Legal Teams to resolve any insurance issues that may delay approvals or cause Preferred Partners to be placed on hold due to expired insuranceWork with Accounting Team to set up Preferred PartnersWork with Corporate Legal Team to maintain current contract documentation for each market in the regionStore signed Preferred Partner Agreements, Statements of Work (SOW), and ensure contract documents from Local Teams are complete and properly filed
QualificationsExperience working in purchasing, starts, permitting, and/or vendor management preferredStrong professional communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and Preferred PartnersProven ability to hold team members and partners accountable to established policies and requirementsA professional understanding of insurance lingo is a plusHighly organized, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and interactions efficientlyResults-driven, with a focus on exceeding expectations and meeting deadlinesA process-oriented mindset, continuously seeking improvements to achieve business goals more effectivelyCollaborative team player committed to helping the team reach business objectives and understanding the role within the broader business process
