The Role

Atlas Copco is looking for a Regional Sales Manager, reporting to the Zone Manager (Motor Vehicle Industry)  

Some additional responsibilities may include:

Develop strategic partnerships with customers in the territory to drive profitable growth.Real-time assessment of our business position in automotive manufacturing facilities (and their suppliers) in the territory (i.e, SWOT analysis, customer needs and expectations, market share, revenue, customer input, competition, etc.)Creation of a sound business plan and on-going activity planExecution of all MVI sales processes and strategiesDevelopment of complete customer satisfaction in all MVI accountsFormal introduction of all new products to MVI customers with customer-specific value focusReporting all product needs and competitive activity to Product MarketingDevelopment of new accounts & maintenance of existing accounts

What we expect of you:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent preferred3+ years’ experience in Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, Sales Engineering, Automation Sales, or Industrial Tooling Sales preferredStrong mechanical and technical aptitude required3+ years’ experience traveling to customer locations in a manufacturing environment preferred2+ years’ experience conducting product demonstrations or presentations preferredThe “will to win” mentality
