Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market share within the Tennessee region. You will lead a team of sales professionals, manage key accounts, and develop strategies to expand our presence in the engineered wood building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.Develop and implement sales strategies, business plans, and sales forecasts.Evaluate sales performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to enhance the team’s effectiveness.Market Expansion:Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to increase revenue and market share.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, architects, builders, and contractors.Understand market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to drive product development and innovation.Product Knowledge:Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s engineered wood products and their applications.Collaborate with the marketing team to create and deliver effective product presentations and training for the sales team.Forecasting and Reporting:Prepare and present sales reports, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and market analysis.Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive intelligence.Customer Focus:Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships to maximize repeat business.Compliance and Safety:Ensure adherence to all relevant industry regulations and company policies.Promote safety practices and a culture of safety within the sales team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the building materials or construction industry.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.Analytical and strategic thinking skills.Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
