Regulatory reporting in Europe remains a significant challenge for payment institutions as regulators scrutiny continues increasing. This is a new position to bolster the recently created Legal Entity Regulatory Reporting team, which has the responsibility to oversee the successful delivery of all regulatory reporting obligations in scope. As manager, you will oversee the governance, delivery, and compliance of regulatory reporting obligations across Europe, with a focus on France Legal Entities. This role is critical to ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, enhancing risk management, and fostering collaboration across local and enterprise stakeholders.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Serve as the central point of contact for France´s regulatory reporting, liaising with the central governance team to ensure obligations are allocated to the correct teams with clear roles & responsibilities. Act as point of escalation for the broader regulatory reporting program in Europe, when appropriate. Lead the management, oversight and delivery of new regulatory reporting obligations. Implement and maintain the governance framework to monitor risks associated with reporting obligations. Partner with compliance, legal, technologies and data teams to ensure end-to-end oversight of new requirements, validating reports meet regulatory standards. Support delivery teams in producing and submitting reports, while highlighting opportunities and championing change initiatives to reduce risk and enhance controls. Document reporting requirements and contribute to creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for priority obligations. Establish robust monitoring, testing, and data quality controls.Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience in Compliance, Operational Risk, Regulatory projects or a related control function within Financial Services (Issuing or Acquiring businesses). Knowledge of EU and country-specific financial regulations is a strong advantage. Self-starter with exceptional project and stakeholder management skills, capable of driving programs forward with minimal supervision. Creative and highly collaborative approach to solving problems, action oriented to facilitate closure of open points, with the ability to challenge the status quo. Able to set and influence priorities to achieve goals and adapt quickly to changing circumstances and multiple demands. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, able to source, interpret, and leverage data in a meaningful way to support decision making. Outstanding verbal and written communicator, able to craft messages that clearly and succinctly communicate key points to diverse audiences. Experience at Risk Committees and Board level presentations would be an advantage.
