National Real Estate Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As a Regional Real Estate Manager (Project Management), you will manage leasing/buying transactions and major projects over the Canadian real estate portfolio. You will be the main point of contact to provide internal businesses optimal working/production/warehousing environments. This role requires a dynamic leader who can build productive relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal requirements.This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area and is located in Saint-Laurent.The work model is hybrid with one day per week at the office. You will have to travel across Canada 10%-15% of the time.•\tBuilds strategic relationships with local division leadership to understand their future real estate related supply and demand requirements.•\tParticipate on the real estate strategic development plans for all business areas and divisions to enhance the local division facilities for both current and prescribed future needs.•\tParticipate on the creation of a real estate strategic plan with required investments and space requirements to meet the business strategies.•\tOversee the acquisition, development, and management of real estate assets to support business operations and growth.•\tLead real estate portfolio review with the business for location base in your region on a regular basis during the year. (Cost efficiencies, strategy). •\tResponsible of the action plan define with the business to ensure deadlines are met and communicated.•\tLead and manage all real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and lease/sublease negotiations.•\tOversee the planning and execution of facility-related projects and renovations.•\tProvide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of ongoing transactions and projects.•\tHires and manages third party, consultants and professionals.•\tBuilds intuitive business cases, project charter and to be able to effectively communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
