Regional Procurement Manager
Purpose of the Job

To directly run the Procurement function and potentially lead the team for Europe and North American regions ensuring process compliance, adding value, driving budget optimization in meeting business and operational needs. Must be hands-on and be able to run the show independently in the beginning.

Job Description Establish Regional procurement plan in liaison with Global Procurement Director and Regional Vice President (s) Manage and explore saving opportunities for country wise 3rd party addressable spend, develop a localized procurement strategy to support the business Enhance the Procurement function KPIs and metrics, enforce performance against agreed SLAs to achieve the overall global procurement strategy Control cost/expenses and build a culture of long-term saving on purchasing cost Directly conduct, own and report sourcing activities. Must be hands-on as a doer in the initial stages demonstrating the capability of potentially establishing and leading a team. Build relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate technical evaluation during tender process Evaluate and manage relationships with strategic suppliers to minimize cost and maximize benefits through adequate supplier management methodology from prequalification, due-diligence and performance review Collaborate with legal, financial and operational entities to draft and negotiate major agreements and supplier contracts Ensure adherence with the company procurement policies, systems, and procedures Assist the country local management teams in decision making related to purchasing requirements Effective management of contracts and renewals and all associated paperwork through the team processes and systems Develop, mentor/coach and train direct reports in future Facilitate the flow of information horizontally and vertically Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree with additional qualification in Procurement such as CIPS or similar Strong financial, relevant commercial/legal acumen Experience in SAP/Ariba modules 5-7 years of procurement experience with additional 3 years in a Managerial role preferably at a regional level managing cross country procurement activities for Europe and North America would be preferable Leadership Behaviors Building Outstanding TeamsSetting a clear directionSimplificationCollaborate & break silosExecution & AccountabilityGrowth mindsetInnovationInclusionExternal focusSkills
