Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Regional PMO Digital (Europe) to join our team at ABB Oy. This role is part of our Process Industries Division and can be based in Helsinki, Oulu or Pirkkala in Finland.Your role will cover project management and control, budget and operations planning as well as leadership and stakeholder relations. That is to say that in this role you will ensure industrial software projects are carried out in accordance with company procedures, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. You will coordinate and oversee team development and standardized process development to continually improve effectiveness of project execution teams.You will be mainly accountable for:•Supervising project implementation and performance management (revenue, billing and margin targets) through coaching and project reviews•Addressing efficiently escalated issues, especially those raised by customers•Ensuring that the regional portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and that projects consistently apply contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies •Building and maintaining an HSE culture by driving, validating, and supporting that appropriate HSE measures are taken and implemented in accordance with regulations and requirements•Leading implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy in collaboration with the engineering organization•Driving the revenue budgeting process jointly with Regional General Manager and Controller•Leading and coaching the project execution teams to achieve business objectives and driving efficiency and effectiveness and improves cash flow, revenue, and profitability

Qualifications for the role

Extensive experience (15+ years) and significant history in project/program management for automation and OT / software industry with focus on digitalization and Industrial Software. Division-specific industry and background in either one or more of the Division industrial domains of Mining, Pulp & Paper, Metals and Cement is necessary in the rolePrevious experience as a team manager and inspirational leader with a very collaborative mindset and the ability to ensure success in direct and matrix multicultural organization are necessary in the roleExperience in driving digital Project execution for complex global organizations in a B2B environment (Process / Energy industries); as well as track record in project recoveryAbility to deliver complex deliverables under demanding timelines; flexibility with changes and keeping the customer focused and staying within the scope of the engagementChange management experience is a strong plusFluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken are necessary in the role, additional language a plusAvailability to travel within Europe as required
