Managing all day to day activities within the area Monitor sales performance of all stores and staff within the region Evaluate performance in the achievement of budgets and take action where necessary Monitor expenses Identify ways in which to increase sales opportunities within each store Protection of all assets through effective implementation of company policies and procedures Pro-actively influence stockholding to ensure correct merchandise mix. Ensure that promotional activity has been accurately implemented Ensure strong visual standards across the stores in-line with company standards Ensure store lay-outs are in-line with company standards Ensure a strong level of customer service across the area Ensure that company administration procedures are being adhered to Knowledge of competitor business People management To be accountable for the processes of succession planning, staff development and recruitment planning to ensure all positions within the area are staffed to the optimum level Staff training sessions – guide stores by means of a training plan Ensure customer friendly and efficient environment Skills | Experience Required:
Chain store Area Manager experience 5 years retail experience in apparel Strong merchandising knowledge Sound IR knowledge Computer literate The suitable candidate will currently be functioning as an Area Manager.
