## **About the Team**
Uber Shuttle is an everyday commute product that is safe, reliable and affordable. With just a few taps and a short walk, Shuttle makes it easy for riders to book a guaranteed seat in an air-conditioned bus from a selection of fixed routes, fixed timings and pick-up/drop stops.
India is the top B2C market globally for Shuttle and the India Operations team is responsible for scaling the product in India in collaboration with the global teams. With the Shuttle product and engineering teams being based in India, this provides a unique opportunity to drive global innovation in Shuttle products from India.
## **About the Role**
Operations is all about how we run the business. The High Capacity Vehicles (HCV) Operations team builds, scales and optimises how we run Uber Shuttle operations to deliver on our promise to riders, drivers, fleets and clients.
The Rider Growth Operations Manager will be responsible for the entire rider lifecycle management with a strong focus on new rider acquisition. Strong analytical acumen is required to experiment and iterate on execution strategy. This role is best suited for people who have prior experience in growth operations and are comfortable with a hands-on approach. You will need to have a bias to action and adopt a consultative and iterative approach to solving problems - big and small.
You will work closely with the Central Rider team and collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Legal, Procurement, Product & Engineering teams to ensure alignment and progression towards the business objectives.
**What the Candidate Will Do**
1. Growth hacking: Experiment with cost-effective marketing levers and iteratively build up the new rider growth handbook.
2. Data-driven problem solving: Monitor rider metrics and delve into the data to validate your hypothesis and iterate campaigns to make data driven decisions.
3. Awareness & trial: Drive user awareness and first-trips using owned and non-owned channels that we can scale. Iterate on this to drive down cost-per-first trip over time.
4. Drive sustainable growth: Identify opportunities to drive growth from existing users and manage churn. Initiate and run experiments to drive efficiency in the overall growth funnel.
5. Be a self-starter: Take initiative to solve new problems as they arise. We’re a new business and there’s a lot that we don’t know.
**What the Candidate Will Need**
1. 3+ years of relevant experience in a fast pace environment solving for consumer growth.
2. High proficiency in SQL, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and using data analytics to drive actionable insights.
3. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, adept at fostering relationships and collaborating across teams.
4. Growth marketing experience using different channels (e.g. digital marketing, performance marketing, SEO/SEM etc).
5. Experience building consumer insights using multiple data sources (e.g. focus groups, surveys, product usage etc.).
