Our client is searching for a Regional Manager who will be responsible for the Gauteng region The ideal incumbent would be one who comes from a strong retail background within a Regional Manager portfolio
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Regional operations in line with the regional operating plan
Drive marketing and sales initiatives across the region in line with the marketing and sales strategy to improve monthly sales
Drive high performance customer centric culture
Effectively manage vendor relationships and budgets
Manage effective SLAs with internal and external stakeholders
Proactively identify operational problems determine impact patterns and trends identify best fit alternatives design best practice solutions and anticipate future problems
Drive effective Customer Management to ensure customer excellence
Actively implement and monitor service practices to determine the status of customer service and relations
Streamline and integrate existing operational practices processes and systems across the Region
Evaluate and implement new processes systems and best operating practices
Ensure perfection presentation standards policies and procedures are executed delivered and maintained within their region
Empower employees and emerging leaders and specialists to achieve operational excellence
Effectively manage employee performance and create opportunities for them to gain the competence for the work required
Requirements
Matric
Degree/ Diploma
4 to 6 years management experience in a retail/customer focused environment
Must have extensive experience managing a region as a Regional Manager
Be willing to work long hours including weekends when required
Salary Market related
