Regional IT Support (Safety Division)
**Description** Bunzl is currently seeking a Regional IT Support resource to work with our Safety Division. The Regional IT Support – Level 2 position will have a thorough understanding of networking, service management, and ERP business processes, as well as translate real-world problems to system-based solutions. The person in this role will be responsible for providing network and service desk support to meet IT needs within a warehouse environment. This position will be actively involved in project implementations and will work collaboratively to maintain a high level of business and systems knowledge. **This position will be on-site in Memphis, TN.** At Bunzl, we know that our employees are our number one asset. We seek to recruit and retain the right people who are passionate about our business and we provide opportunities for our employees so that they may progress within our company based on their talents, experiences, and their aptitude. **_Responsibilities:_** **Network Support:** + Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues in a timely manner. + Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and issues. + Work effectively within and across ERP, Finance, HR, Business Operations, and IT teams to execute projects and roadmap items. + Unmount and decommission outdated or faulty network equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and security standards. + Manage relationships between external and internal stakeholders. + Perform risk assessments and develop response strategies. + Maintain detailed records of network design, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. + Work with other IT team members to plan and implement network and cloud projects. **Service Management Support:** + Track and manage incidents through to resolution within ServiceNow, ensuring timely updates and communication with users, and reduce open/ongoing incidents - Break fix solutions. + Assist in root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences. + Connect closely with the business and serve as the business-facing support team. + Liaison between IT and all levels of business users; work closely with the MSP to resolve issues. + Assist with the setup and support of users and devices in various ERP systems such as SAP, SAGE, etc. + Coordinate and execute the onboarding process for new users, ensuring they have the necessary access and resources. + Provide support for endpoint devices such as desktops, laptops, document/label printers, RF scanners, smartphones, etc. + Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of endpoint devices. + Support the connectivity to business-related software applications, including but not limited to Office 365 and Cisco/WebEx cloud applications. + Manage the procurement and refresh process for endpoint devices. + Setup and configure warehouse shipping stations. + Provide ongoing support and guidance to users as they learn new systems and applications. + Collaborate with the business teams on projects and enhancement requests. + Establish, document, and promote Best Practices and standards. **_Requirements:_** + Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications and related and demonstratable work experience. + Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, ERP, and security best practices. + Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint), and other analytical tools/software. + Manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is highly desirable. + Ability to troubleshoot issues directly with technology resources. + Strong customer service, organizational, verbal and written communication skills. + Team player who is also a self-starter with ability to work independently and show initiative. + Ability to professionally represent the company to customers, vendors and co-workers. + Ability to present ideas and user training in user-friendly language. + Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, with frequently changing requirements. + Project planning and management skills, including exposure to making operational decisions, monitoring progress, taking corrective action and reporting results. + Demonstrate ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization from executive to individual contributors. + Provide support outside of normal business hours. + Travel between offices and site locations as required. + Ability to travel out of state occasionally as required. **So, what are you waiting for?
