• General knowledge and understanding of IT acumen associated to best practice ITIL standards including User Technical Support and Change Control.
• Demonstrated skills utilizing technology platforms, database utilities and reporting tools including SQL and T-SQL, experience working on Data warehouse, ETL and integrations, as well as data modeling workflows.
• General knowledge of Cloud database administration (Azure and AWS).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, and SQL is crucial for data engineers. These languages are used for data manipulation, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and building data pipelines.
• Skills in data modeling and designing data schemas are important for organizing and structuring data in a way that supports efficient querying and analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Google Cloud is essential. Data engineers often use cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• A minimum of intermediate proficiency in Power Apps.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience extracting data from ERP systems.

Work with data Owners to ensure services are effectively transferred to appropriate support services within the region.
