MENAT- Connectivity services is the basic infrastructure that support approximately 10,000 internal users within HSBC in the Middle east, thereby enabling them to deliver the customer services to the highest of standards that the bank has defined.

The role has the primary responsibility to provide specialist design and support to ensure Telecommunication Infrastructure stability and IT functionality and service is maintained to agreed service levels and standards.

Network Analyst will work within the Telecommunications team and will be a subject matter expert on at least one area of Telecommunications Services. The Network Analyst is responsible for the provision and 2nd line design and support of services on a national and international level utilizing network technology equipment. This can include both the development of new functions and facilities and the on-going systems support of production systems.

Duties Responsibilities:

To supportand maintain full functionality of equipment and applications provided by Telecommunications.Identify and improve efficiency and potential improvements of the Telecommunications environment.CTO Connectivity is responsible for all Telecommunication Systems for Data networks across Head Offices, Campus, branches, ATMs, Telephony, Contact Centres, Trade Floor services supporting for the region.This role currently has no line management responsibility but depending on the future changes to the organization, may be assigned to supervise the work of junior staff.Ensure compliance and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls, Telecoms Group Standards and Information Security Secondary Standards.Positive contribution to team tasks and coming out with innovative ideas that can enhance the efficiency of the team.The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.Ensure compliance and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls, Telecoms Group Standards and Information Security Secondary Standards.Positive contribution to team tasks and coming out with innovative ideas that can enhance the efficiency of the team.

Experience Qualifications:

Knowledge of Network technologies ( eg TCP/IP. LAN, WAN, Internet, DNS, DHCP, Proxy, IPT)Working knowledge of Enterprise network design.Working knowledge of Software Design Wide Area Network (SDWAN).Experience of working in medium to large telecommunications projects from Data Voice Network.In depth knowledge of best practice within an operational support environment.Ability to work under pressure and deliver within limited timescales , proven ability to prioritize competing demands.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Good team player skills which rely on honest open communication and reliability of individuals to strive to deliver an excellent service to the customer with good interpersonal skills.Ability to assess IT trends.Preferably industrial certifications such as CCNA/ CCNP etc.University graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information technology or Electronics engineering or related discipline
